Renoir Blues

Renoir is famous for skin, for light on faces, for Sunday afternoons. He was known for warm tones. Pink and gold. Blues like these weren't really his territory. But in 1879 he was invited to stay at a diplomat's country house near Dieppe, and somewhere between social obligations he walked down to the Normandy shore and let his brush go. Just water meeting sky in a thousand shades of blue. Like a singer who suddenly nails a song in a genre nobody expected from them. He pulled it off anyway. 🛒 Get it here: https://art.ecoartlab.store/products/renoir-impressionist-art-for-frame-tv-i-i-oil-paint
